Position: Service Charge Accountant
Location: East London
Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hybrid Work Schedule: 3 days from home, 2 days in the office.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Service Charge Accountant to join our dynamic our small team. This role will be shared between two members of the accounts team and will focus on managing the financial aspects of our property service charges across all developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse expenditure reports and financial figures related to service charges.
- Conduct reconciliations and forecasts to ensure accuracy and financial stability.
- Manage the bank run processes (handling incoming and outgoing funds).
- Raise demands for service charges and ensure timely collection.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the service charge accounting function.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Charge Accountant.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyse data and prepare accurate reports.
- Proficiency in financial reconciliations and forecasting.
- Ability to work autonomously and initiate process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
