Job Title: Senior Block Manager
Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid: 3 days from home, 2 days from office) 
Salary: Up to £65,000
Employment Type: Full-time (4-day work week paid for 5, after 6-month probation)

Position Overview:

As a Senior Block Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing a diverse portfolio of properties, working closely with corporate clients, and contributing to our expansion efforts, particularly in new build projects. You will have the autonomy to drive success within your portfolio while being supported by a team dedicated to maintaining our reputation as a centre of excellence in property management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring high standards of management and client satisfaction.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• New Build Projects: Play a key role in integrating new build developments into our management portfolio, working closely with developers and stakeholders.
• Tender Participation: Contribute to the tendering process for new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise to win new contracts.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Compliance & Regulation: Ensure all properties within your portfolio comply with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
• Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, service charge accounts, and financial planning for your portfolio.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in block management, with a track record of managing a diverse portfolio.
• Strong understanding of the property management sector, particularly in dealing with corporate clients.
• Experience with new build projects and involvement in tender processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions that align with our company’s values and objectives.
• RICS or IRPM qualification is preferred but not essential.
