Senior Property Manager (Client-Side) - North London

We are currently seeking a Senior Property manager to oversee managing agents working with a specific focus on building remediation projects. This role requires extensive knowledge of residential property management, government funding schemes, and a wide range of relevant regulations and standards. Responsible for building remediation, your primary role will be to manage the relationship between the client and the managing agents. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of building remediation projects and compliance with relevant regulations

Key Responsibilities:
 
Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with managing agents, acting as the primary point of contact for our clients. Ensure client needs and expectations are met effectively.
Project Delivery: Demonstrate a proven ability to manage and deliver building remediation projects on time and within budget.
Financial Oversight: Oversee ground rents, service charge budgeting, and accounts related to building remediation projects. Manage maintenance and repair budgets, major works projects, and Section 20 consultations.
Dispute Resolution: Navigate the First-tier Tribunal (FTT) processes and effectively manage dispute resolution related to building remediation projects.
Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and effective communication with managing agents, internal teams, and external stakeholders. Conduct and present meetings internally and externally to ensure project progress and compliance.
Data Management: Utilise property management database software, Microsoft Word, and Excel to maintain accurate project records and financial reporting.
Compliance: Ensure in-house compliance with GDPR legislation and regulations.
 
Technical Knowledge Required:
Regulatory Expertise: Utilise your extensive knowledge of the Property Safety and Compliance Reform Fund (PSCRF), Building Safety Fund (BSF), and the Cladding Support Scheme (CSS) government funding schemes. Ensure compliance with developer self-remediation terms ("SRT"), RICS Residential Service Charge Code, ARMA-Q standards, health and safety regulations, statutory notices, building surveys, Landlord & Tenant and RTM legislation.
Person Specification:
Considerable experience in residential property management at a senior level.
Strong project management skills and a proven track record of successful project delivery.
In-depth knowledge of government funding schemes, regulatory standards, and relevant legislation.
Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal, and CRM communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while achieving team and business objectives.
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and seek assistance when necessary.
Confidence in conducting and presenting meetings to internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in property management database software, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
High degree of integrity, reliability, and a deadline-driven work ethic.
Strong multitasking abilities and tenacity
Minimum Requirements:
5 years’ Block Management experience
A full working knowledge of Service Charge budgets, Section 20 notices, and relevant laws/regulations (Landlord & Tenant Act 1985)
First-tier Tribunal (FTT)
Experience in chairing AGM’s and carrying out site inspections
 
Desirable Requirements:
Industry-related qualifications such as IRPM / RICS / IOSH

Salary Range & Benefits
This position is paying a competitive salary of £65,000 depending on experience.
