Property Administrator – Lettings

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 DOE

Monday – Friday: 100% office based

 

Role Objective

Step into a dynamic role where you’ll be the backbone of our Lettings Team! As a Property Administrator, you'll be at the heart of the action—managing enquiries, fostering strong relationships with tenants and landlords, and ensuring that every detail is perfectly executed. Your mission is to deliver outstanding customer service while handling a variety of essential administrative tasks that keep our operations running smoothly.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Be the first point of contact by managing incoming calls and emails, addressing property-related queries from investors and landlords with confidence.
  • Keep the team connected by answering calls on behalf of colleagues, ensuring no message is missed.
  • Drive the tenancy process by managing new applications from prospective tenants with precision and care.
  • Safeguard financial transactions by efficiently processing tenant deposits.
  • Take charge of property management by creating and maintaining accurate records for new properties in our MRI system and other databases.
  • Navigate the licensing landscape by handling landlord licensing applications and liaising with local authorities and landlords.
  • Play a pivotal role in supplier relations by overseeing the management of details for new suppliers and contractors.
  • Ensure peace of mind for clients by updating warranty information for suppliers on white goods and other items.
  • Be the go-to person for ad-hoc administrative support across all teams, proving your versatility and reliability.
  • Foster seamless communication by handling incoming calls and emails, and addressing general enquiries with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with customers and external agencies, making sure all tenancy or property management matters are resolved smoothly.
  • Support the management team by preparing insightful reports that drive business decisions.

Key Requirements and Competencies

  • At least 1 year experience in property/lettings admin
