Client Asset Manager

Reports To: Head of PRS

Salary: Up to a package £50,000 DOE

Location:  Site visits to the below locations

I’m currently hiring for a fantastic company to join their team delivering great service to 5 sites across London, including Haringey, Islington, Hackney, Croydon and Wimbledon. The Asset Manager would be expected to visit these sites on a regular basis.

There would also be a requirement to join team meetings in the Maidenhead office from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance department efficiency and development by optimizing performance, compliance, revenue, and profitability.
  • Assist the Client in managing their residential portfolio by providing comprehensive block, leasing, and tenancy management services.
  • Supervise the PRS Leasing and Tenant Services teams in the day-to-day management of residential portfolios owned by the Client, coordinating with landlords, tenants, and contractors.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as the primary contact for the Client, delivering prompt and responsive communication.
  • Manage the onboarding of Client properties to ensure a seamless transition
  • Oversee the Leasing Service team to execute the lettings process efficiently and minimize vacancies using local and specialized lettings teams.
  • Actively review and report on end-of-tenancy property conditions and necessary remediation, including repairs, decoration, and furnishing.
  • Ensure the Tenancy Services team provides both proactive and reactive property repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Continuously review and assess the Client’s portfolio to ensure compliance with industry health and safety standards.
  • Participate in Client meetings to discuss lettings and property management strategies and policies as required.
  • Collaborate with the Client to establish realistic annual budgets and expenditure plans.
  • Visit Client sites regularly as needed.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to the Client as required.
  • Manage complaints and queries in line with the complaints procedure
  • Work closely with the internal teams to deliver efficient and effective service.

General

  • Perform all duties in accordance with ARLA and ARMA guidelines and the RICS code of practice.
  • Complete all mandatory online training courses promptly and participate in optional training as deemed appropriate by the Head of PRS.
  • Stay informed of new relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.
  • Adhere to FCA regulations in all work practices.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, customers, contractors, and the public.
  • Be punctual and adhere to the company Dress Code.
  • Foster business relations within the group to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Actively contribute to the motivation and achievements of the department or branch as a supportive team member.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Experience in Lettings, Property Management and/or Asset Management is essential.
  • High IT literacy and proficiency.
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • High energy, with drive and enthusiasm for self-development.
  • Commitment to being an active and supportive member of a high-performing team.
  • Willingness to travel.
