Block Manager - Surrey

Block Manager
Location: Near Guildford
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE and qualifications
Hybrid: 1 or 2 days home working per week. 

We are seeking a dedicated Block Manager to join our independent company, overseeing a manageable portfolio of approximately 500 units. Based near Guildford, we pride ourselves on our established presence and friendly, supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of residential blocks
• Conduct Section 20 consultations through to completion. 
• Prepare and manage service charge budgets
• Organise and lead AGMs
• Maintain relationships with leaseholders 
• Complete site inspections 
• Stay updated on relevant legislation and ensure compliance
• Demonstrate proficiency in building safety regulations and practices

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in residential block management. Upwards of 2 years. 
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to continuous learning
