Block Recruit recently carried out an assessment of how often requests for an IRPM qualification come up in the block management vacancies that we work on. We analysed all of the Block Management positions we have worked on in the past two years and the results are as follows

Assistant Block Manager Vacancies:

78% of all jobs request an IRPM Qualification

71% list the qualification as desirable

7% list it as a must have.

Block Manager Vacancies:

87% of all jobs request an IRPM Qualification

59% list the qualification as desirable

28% list it as a must have.

Senior Block Manager Vacancies:

100% of all jobs request an IRPM Qualification

19% list the qualification as desirable

81% list as a must have.

Note: Some employers recruiting a block manager have offered salary increases of £5k for candidates with AIRPM, or £10k for MIRPM qualifications.
