The London Borough of Lambeth have approved a detailed planning application from developer Ocubis for an inventive twin towers development in Vauxhall. The 25-storey mixed-use development, at 36-46 Albert Embankment, will comprise of 166 new homes, 22000 sq. ft. of office space and 1500sq. ft. of retail space.
The development will incorporate 350 sq. ft. of photovoltaic cells providing renewable energy and a complex structural building design using cantilevers to balance the stepped buildings with overhanging sections.
