Developer, Urban and Civic have revised plans for their Whitworth Street/Princess Street development in Manchester.

The development, now named Manchester New Square, has had an additional 111 residential flats approved after developers abandoned plans for the previously approved 148-room hotel.

The total number of flats to be built on the development is now 351.
